Hello. Of course you can see on the site there are almost 700 members in Scotland. It’s not a lot and it’s very requested, it often needs more than 20 requests to find exchanges there, especially it won’t be school holidays so families can’t travel at this period . Good Luck 
Yes there are hosts but it is a popular location to travel to, so in high demand.
