Hello, I am married to Scotsman, living mostly in Scotland.
As a tourist destination I think Scotland is great from May to September.
April and October is OK , but not great. Winter months are not for me.
Scotland is like 5 countries: landscape, weather, nature have differences.
Ask me questions, I will try to answer.
But I don’t like cities anymore, - so ask Google about cities please

It is such a lovely country. Are you looking to host others in Scotland? Perhaps add a link to your home.

We did a reciprocal exchange with Scotland last summer, to a small town in Moray called Forres. We loved it, it really is a gem! It’s a nice town, peaceful, with beautiful parks, and just 10 minutes from the small seaside village of Findhorn. Also close to many other noce places along the coast, and not far from the Highlands, Loch Ness etc. We enjoyed afternoon tea onboard the Strathspey Railway heritage train, which took us through beautiful Highland scenery. Simply wonderful.
The small towns and villages of Moray are highly recommended!

Do you know much about the town of Kilmarnock? My dad was born there, but I’ve never been.

I didn’t visited it but a rock band I love for decades comes from there : Biffy clyro if you want to listen
