Some like small rural towns, others very urban environments. Which team do you belong to?
I prefer a quiet home in the mountains.
Sometimes we do other exchanges. Last year, my husband and I went to Paris for a weekend through HomeExchange. This summer, we also went to Badalona, a city which lies against Barcelona. We did visit Barcelona, but only once. Our other trips were to nature. I don’t think many people who’d have quick access to going to Barcelona would prefer nature instead.

France! Because we live in the southern hemisphere in New Zealand, our closest destinations are Australia and the Pacific Islands. However most of our family live in Europe and we love the historic old towns of France especially. So while we are still able, we try to visit as much as we can. We have beautiful beaches and countryside in NZ but not ancient towns and markets and monuments and cathedrals…
