If it comes from the Australian isps, not sure HE could do something, it may come from your local companies as Dylan said. Iām volunteer for years and itās a problem which never occured before or in Europe/US/South America etc, so it might be a regional problem
Ah, I am also from Australia. Thanks for investigating Dylan. I hope that HE will look into it to see if something can be done.
Hi Dylan, I too am in Aus and this issue has been doing my head in. So very frustrating. Thanks so much for the VPN solution! It works on my phone:)
By way of an update, I was chatting via support with this back in February, and at that point they had a lot of technical information Iād been able to supply, and the response at that time was:
āAt the moment, Iām still waiting for our IT team to respond. Once I hear back from them, Iāll be sure to update you. If they need any additional technical details or further testing on your end, Iāll definitely reach out.ā
And I havenāt heard back since, and the issue is still occurring, though I can work around it with a VPN if I need to.
Update: I have checked with the team and this is an issue in the Asia Pacific region. HE are aware of there being an issue with large picture files not showing and it is something they are working on to fix. Hopefully it wonāt be too long until this can be resolved, thank you for your patience as I understand it must be frustrating.
Iām in New Zealand and have been having the same problem for years! yes, the vpn solution does work! Thank you so much for that little gem. But I agree that HE should be doing something to resolve the problem without us needing to use a VPN !
Iām so sorry that this is still an issue in the Australia/NZ region. I have contacted the team dealing with this to get an update.
Same issue here (new Aussie member). I was concerned about my own uploaded pics, as they are not loading properly for me. The workarounds listed work (view by phone or via VPN), but Iām guessing that many Aussies arenāt aware of them.
I ran into a similar issue a while ago and ended up displaying my home photos on a digital frame from nixplay.com during exchanges. It let guests preview everything in better detail once they arrived, which was a fun extra touch and worked well when the site photos didnāt load properly.
Iām sorry that the photos werenāt loading well on the site, but what a great work around!
I too went through the whole process of trying to resolve this with HE months ago, only to feel fobbed off and slightly gaslit! We run three internet businesses from home ⦠I knew it wasnāt an issue at our end
. And, yes, we are in New Zealand. HE need to resolve this urgently.
