Hi. I have been a member for 10 years and most of my swaps are non-simultaneous with sometimes 6-18 months in between the swaps!
Currently you can only leave a review after both parties have completed the swap. This often results in no review being left, as people tend to forget after so many months. Why is it not possible to leave a review for each part of the swap if the swaps are not simultaneous? It would probably result in more reviews being left.

I know that many members feel the same way and our Product team’s looking into this topic as well Our thinking when we had set this up was that we wanted both parts of the exchange to be done before anyone could leave a review because we were afraid if a member had left their review after just the first half of the exchange, that review could affect the second half of the exchange. That said, I understand that it’s frustrating for members who had a long waiting time between two parts of a reciprocal exchange so I’m sharing your feedback with the team again
Perhaps the option should be there to leave a review after the ‘first half’ of the exchange, but you don’t publish it until the exchange has been completed? That way there is no influence on the ‘other’ review possible…
That is why it should not be changed. Only publish reviews after both exchanges have finished.
At the moment there is no option to even write a review after one half of the exchange is finished. My request is to have that option, even if Homeexchange then does not publish the review until both halves of the exchange have been completed.

We did a non simultaneous exchange and people were amazed and had the best exchange ever (written in HE email).
I came to their home one year later and their review was ok but quite dry.
The excitement and happiness had cooled down.
Your suggestion is perfect for non simultaneous exchanges.
To write a review and wait for the other exchange to publish it.

I would like to ask your help since I am waiting already for 8 days from HE and Vanessa( who was helping me)stoped answering since 11/6.
Maybe she is sick or on vacation.
My case exchange# 86918683
We had cancelation due to medical reason with doctor’s letter and after retaliating review from the member (1, 1, 1)our rating dropped from 5 to 4.8
This week we completed another exchange with all 5 stars and our rating went down again to 4.7
( even thought it says on my profile overall is 4.8)
I already emailed to HE but no answer and no correction. I have other exchanges planned in November and I am concern that our rating will go down again
If you could help us to fix this unfair mistake I would appreciate, since it is hurting our rating and I am afraid to continue exchanging and strive for 5 stars review since rating is going down unfairly.
Otherwise I would have to report it on trustpoilot unfortunately with 1 star review.
