ENGLAND OR SCOTLAND SEPTEMBER 2026
We are a friendly retired couple dreaming of a reciprocal exchange that would take us to England or Scotland for at least two weeks in September 2026. Ideally, we would like to be located near public transportation, but not in the city center.

Come discover Quebec, its unique character, and its magnificent landscapes. Our cottage can accommodate 2 to 4 people (except young children). Send us your proposal!

Welcome to the Forum Sylvie and best of luck with your exchange search

We are a Spanish family of 5 looking for reciprocal in UK or Ireland in summer 2026. We want to improve our English (especially our children) in a truly local environment.

We offer a 3 bedroom flat in Soria, a small city 2-3 hours away from Madrid. We’d be happy to help you plan your stay, combining summer activities, cultural events, sightseeing, and even courses or summer camps if you wish.

Enjoy S O R I A!

Looking for a UK swap, Easter 2026

29 March to 12 April (4-7 nights during the period)

4 people & dog

Anyone fancy a swap over the UK school holidays Easter 2026? We live in a pretty village with lots of country walks and lovely dog-friendly pubs and cafes, just outside Cambridge. We’re seeking a change of scenery for our family of four and black Labrador for 4-7 nights sometime between 29 March and 12 April. In an ideal world there’d be water close by for our dog to swim in.

:globe_showing_europe_africa: Hello from Barcelona! :beach_with_umbrella:

Here we are again looking for a summer exchange for 2026.

We are slow travellers and like to do long exchanges in summer. 4-5 weeks between July and August. #reciprocalsim #nopoints

We are looking only in Europe this year. Open to larger or smaller cities that are walkable and bikeable with access to nearby amenities and nature.

We live in a family-friendly neighborhood :family_man_woman_girl_boy:.

Our previous exchanges have appreciated that our home is in a local and quiet area , away from the main tourist spots, yet offering everything you need daily and great transportation to downtown (all mode of transport within 5 to 8 minutes).

:round_pushpin: Easy access to Barcelona’s main attractions and more. Just to name a few: Sagrada Familia, Parc Guell , Las Ramblas, Montjuïc, Picasso Museum, Miró Museum, Tibidabo Amusement Park , Hospital de Sant Pau , Gothic Quarter, Montserrat Monastery .

:automobile:Direct highway access, perfect for exploring Barcelona & Catalonia.

:airplane: The airport is easily reachable by regular bus, and the main train station is just 20 minutes away via a direct metro line.

Looking for reciprocal exchange July 4-July 11 2026. Either within approx 12 hours drive south from Copenhagen or somewhere we can access by plane and stay without a car.

We are looking for somewhere with a good chance of warm weather -but not excess heat. Close to both culture and nature, maybe a small city in proximity to a lager city reachable by public transport.

We are parents and youngsters aged 14 (girl, loves shopping) and 19 (boy, loves hiking and mountainbiking).

In exchange, we offer our spacious house in the outskirts of Copenhagen. You can reach central copenhagen by bus +train in 45 min and if you have a car, the motorway is close by so Elsinore, the dome in Roskile or MĂžns Klint are easy accessible.

Looking for a reciprocal exchange of 2-3 weeks in either England, Croatia, Scotland
I’m open to other locations too. Sometime in March-May. Semi-retired and love to travel and explore. It will just be me, an older professional woman with a friend, good ratings. My home is a cute cottage in Fort Worth, Texas.

:norway: Oslo & Spain :spain: !

Our family of 4 (from California) would like to find a reciprocal exchange:

:norway: Oslo August 2-8, 2026

Spain :spain: August 9-15, 2026

We’re visiting a friend in Oslo, then would like to see the Eclipse from Spain. Please check us out and let us know if you’re interested to visit our California home. We live close to beaches :beach_with_umbrella: , wine country :wine_glass: and the city of San Francisco.

A great trip! Have you tried doing a reverse search? This is handy when looking for a reciprocal exchange. https://help.homeexchange.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000730557-What-is-reverse-search-and-how-do-I-use-it

We are a family from Ljubljana, Slovenia—two adults (working in academia/cultural sector) and two children aged 12 and 8. We are interested in a long-term reciprocal exchange (from 10 days up to one ot two months) during the summer of 2026 (July or August). We live in a nice and cosy (but not fancy), fully equipped three-bedroom apartment, located a 5-minute drive or a half-hour walk from Ljubljana city centre. We also have two lovely but somewhat needy cats, so it’s important that you are a cat lover—or at least comfortable around them

Ljubljana is the capital of Slovenia and a great base for exploring the country, as it is close to the mountains, the coast, and many other attractions.

Please feel free to take a look at our profile, and if an exchange might be of interest to you, we would be happy to hear from you!

We are not very picky about places, so surprise us. We are especially interested in Eastern and Central Europe, UK, Ireland, Italy

Our home ID is: #2620515

Hello there, Montréal looking to swap with Toronto :canada: for Easter weekend (April 3-6)

Our home in Montréal can host up to 6 people with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. We also have a driveway so parking is not a problem.

We’re located near a metro station that takes you downtown in 15 minutes, and near the Olympic Park, where you can visit the Biodome, the Insectarium, the Botanical Garden, and the Planetarium; there’s also a movie theater and a large park nearby.

We’re looking for a house or condo in Toronto close to public transportation so we don’t have to drive downtown, with ideally 2 bedrooms (no kids beds as we will be with our grown daughter and her boyfriend).

Here is our house : MarlÚne's home : fully enjoy Montréal!

Hi guys,

Our home on HEx: Cosy Home, Free Undercover Parking, Brisbane CBD & Airport 20 min Drive

Thank you, happy travels!

Hello,

We’re Emilie, François, Edgar and CĂ©leste (aged 9 and 5), we’re on Home Exchange for several years now and for summer 2026, we would like to travel
well, anywhere that can be reached without a plane !

We are living in the Burgundy area of France, and looking for reciprocal exchanges, 2 to 4 weeks, somewhere between July 10 and August 8, our dates are quite flexible so far.

https://www.homeexchange.fr/homes/view/1501319

Our home is an old barn that’s been renovated in the 90’s, with French wooden ceiling. It has a small but very lovely garden just across the street.

We have 3 bedrooms, lots of kids’ toys, Legos, and board games; we also have a billiard if the weather gets rainy.

Our home is located in the countryside and there’s much to experience in the area : walking into nature/woods, visit castles and wineyard, enjoy markets with great local food, taste very good cuisine in local restaurants, walk around nice small cities
In the summer, all the towns and villages around here get busy with lots of festivities like flea markets, fire works, exhibitions, gigs, shows, usually for free, it’s a very nice period to discover our area.

If you enjoy tasting good food and drinks, our area is well known for its wines and gastronomy; and we’re 1h away from « big cities » like Dijon and Lyon.

As the area is not equiped with public transportation, a car is mandatory to fully enjoy your trip. We can organise a car exchange if necessary, and have children car seats if required.

We enjoy travelling with Home Exchange because it perfectly fits values that matter very much to us : respect, trust, and hospitality. Be sure that we will treat your house with great care if you decide to have an exchange with our family.

Thank you for your answer, and please feel free to ask us any questions you need.

Have a nice day,

All the best,

Emilie, François, Edgar and Céleste

Hello! Looking for a swap (my lovely apartment in Berlin) in March to somewhere warm and by the ocean.

(dates flexible between 3-15 of March, preferably for one week or up to the whole time!)

Here is a link to our place
I look forward to hearing from you!

Are you interested in a reciprocal exchange with the sunny Gold Coast, Australia. Over the last couple of years we have had exchanges of two weeks in New Zealand, two months in Norway, six weeks in Scotland. We are currently at the beginning of a five month exchange in England, and we have a six week exchange in Spain in place for the end of 2026. We are now looking forward to 2027. It must be zero point and simultaneous (this is our primary home). A car exchange is a requirement for us as well. We will consider anywhere except the USA at the moment, but we do prefer rural/regional destinations. There are two of us, and our house has two queen sized beds only (in different bedrooms!!). There are two of us, active 70 year olds, and we love museums, theatre, hiking and history.

  • Family exchange? Exchange proposal from Moncada, Valencia. Preferred destinations: Ireland, Scotland, Montreal, Boston. Open to other nice destinations as well, just get in touch if you are interested in our home. :slightly_smiling_face:

  • We are 4 and can host 5 or 6 people.

  • July-August (3 weeks).

  • My name is Carme and I’m writing to you from Moncada, near Valencia. I live here with my family: partner and 2 kids (5 and 9 years old). We are respectful and tidy group of travelers who would like to start the HomeExchange experience.

Our own home is a modern, bright, and very practical house just 15 minutes from Valencia (by car) and 20 minutes (underground or bus).

Perfectly positioned for both sun and scenery: you are just 15 minutes from the nearest beach and a short drive from mountain trails and charming rural villages.

  • It’s perfect for families, with a large inner courtyard, a library, a playroom, and a lovely garden terrace.

  • Our home: 3082810

  • Would you be open to a reciprocal exchange during Summer 2026? We’d love to chat more and see if we can make this work.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
