Hello HomeExchangers!

We’re a family of three from Vancouver, Canada (my wife and I, and our 11-year-old son) - looking for a home exchange somewhere in Central (Costa Rica?) or South America (Colombia?) for 3-6 months starting anytime after January 1, 2026.

We’re hoping to find a place where we can immerse ourselves in local culture, enjoy warm weather, and ideally be close to the ocean for swimming or scuba diving.

Our home in Vancouver is a comfortable, family-friendly house in a great neighborhood, close to parks, transit, and just minutes from downtown and the mountains. It’s the perfect base for exploring the city, skiing, hiking, or just enjoying the laid-back West Coast vibe.

If you’re dreaming of spending some time in beautiful Vancouver and would like to trade for a longer stay in your home in Latin America, we’d love to connect and discuss details!

Here is our Home Listing: East Vancouver Home near funky Commercial Drive

Thanks for reading, and happy exchanging!

Hi  !

![*|13x13](file:///C:/Users/maria/AppData/Local/Temp/msohtmlclip1/01/clip_image001.png) .

Our first ever exchange was this past July (2025) in the French Pyrenees, and since then we have completed some more (Montpellier, Lyon and Paris) and hosted in exchange of GPs as well. Our next trips are in the US in some weeks, the North Pole and in July we have a 5 weeks reciprocal exchange in Scotland. We are thrilled to have discovered HE!

We both are self employed digital nomads so we have lots of flexibility we both work at my husbands tech startup. But I am currently on maternity leaving.

Barcelona is a very beautiful city you have many museums, restaurants and things to do. Also there are so beautiful areas to visit nearby.

Our city is 30 min by car or 45 by train, we have a bus stop under our place (1 min walking across the street) that would take you to the train station. You can walk it s just 10-15 min (we have 2 nearby)

In case you ski Andorra is 3 hrs. away and France is 1.30 hrs. away, you can either choose Spain or France :slightly_smiling_face:.

If you fancy a weekend away, you can get the fast train and in 3.5 hours you will be in Madrid . Or during spring/summer, Balearic islands are just 45 min away by plane!

- We are looking exchanges in any Europe location for a minimum of a month from mid February until the end of April.

- In June we are looking for an exchange in Ireland or UK as we will head towards Scotland afterwards. Also from the 9th of August onwards in both countries as well.

- There is 6 of us travelling but we would love that my parents or my little sis or brother to come to visit for the weekend if the home is big enough to host them

- We also have a second car (7seats). The one we used until this past July as we bough a van.

BARCELONA <> UTRECHT

Hi! Hope you’re doing well.

We are a family of five living in a comfortable flat in Barcelona, and we’ve already had the chance to travel to many countries through home exchanges. We’re now looking for a long-term reciprocal exchange with a family in Utrecht (or nearby), ideally starting in August 2026 for one year.

Our main goal is to experience life in the Netherlands and give our daughters the opportunity to improve their English and learn Dutch in a natural environment.

We’d be happy to host a family of similar size in our 3-bedroom flat in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood in Barcelona, close to schools, parks, and public transport.

Check our flat here : Appartement kids friendly near Park Güell/Sagrada Familia

If this sounds like something that might interest you, we’d love to share more details about our home, neighborhood, nearby schools, and life in Barcelona — and of course, learn more about you and your home in Utrecht!

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Best regards,

Jérôme

Looking for a Medium-Term Home Exchange (1+ Month)

Hello! I’m a 30-year-old front-end developer living and working remotely from Prague, Czech Republic. I’m looking for a home exchange for at least one month. I’m flexible with dates and open to discussing different time frames.

Where I’d love to go:
Spain, Portugal, Italy, Cyprus, Malta — but I’m absolutely open to other suggestions too. If you think our homes could be a match, I’d love to talk!

About my home in Prague:
A bright and cozy 40 m² apartment located in a very green, calm, and safe neighborhood. The area is full of:

  • Excellent cafés and specialty coffee spots

  • Restaurants, pubs, and bakeries

  • Parks and quiet streets perfect for walking

  • Quick and easy public transport to the city center

It’s an ideal place for someone who wants to experience the authentic, relaxed side of Prague while still being close to everything.

About me:
I’m a responsible and tidy person, non-smoker, without any bad habits. I work remotely as a front-end developer, so stable Wi-Fi and a peaceful environment are essential — and I’ll treat your home with the same care as my own.

If you’re interested in spending some time in Prague and think your place could be a good match, feel free to reach out. I’d be happy to discuss details and see if we can arrange a great exchange for both sides!
