SWAP NL ↔ UK
Hello everyone!
I am looking to go to the UK for 2 months this summer/autumn. My apartment is located in Rotterdam, Netherlands, close to the city centre. I am mainly looking for reciprocal swaps.
What I’m looking for:
location & dates: Glasgow (August/ September) & London (September/ October)
length: around 4 weeks per city, starting and ending on Saturday/ Sunday/ Monday
travellers: just me + my cat
type of exchange: (partially) reciprocal
I am looking for a place that is accessible with public transport and has a desk and decent wifi so I can work from home. I don’t need to be in the same place for the full 4 weeks I’m in a city, but I would like to be in the same place at least 1-2 weeks at a time to avoid having to move too often.
I would like the exchange to be reciprocal, as I do not have enough GP to book such a long stay anywhere. However, I’m open to negotiating a (partial) non-reciprocal exchange as well.
My home:
Very light and cosy place, ideal for 1 person or a couple. Lots of light, color, and plants. Fully set-up workspace, fully equipped kitchen, big couch with smart TV, queen-size bed, balcony.
Located in West-Rotterdam, a vibrant and multicultural part of the city. Walkable distance from the city centre, train station, shops, and cafés.
About me:
I am 28, originally from Belgium, and have lived in many different countries in the past 10 years. I am passionate about sustainability and love slow travel. I am a vegetarian, I don’t smoke, and I am a generally calm person. I am traveling with my cat, who is very well-behaved and a big cuddlebug!
