Due to family reasons, my Guest asked me for cancelling the exchange from my end. She said that it’s not possible to cancel it from her side. How come?
Hello. No don’t do that, cause the gp would be given back to them automatically. If the Guests wants to cancel, they need to do it themselves, and you will have the choice to give back the gp or not . If they have a real tech problem, they can contact the support for help.

If your guest wants to cancel the exchange she has to/can do it!
Every member, guests and hosts, can cancel a swap for any reasons, in this case is her matter. Tell her.

It should certainly be possible for her to cancel. If she doesn’t succeed or has a very good reason for cancelling, she can contact support. Often, HE then lets you keep the points and gives her points as well.
Definitely do not cancel yourself. The other member has the ability to cancel the exchange. In all cases, the person requesting the cancellation should be the one to perform the action. If the exchange is finalized and they say that they can no longer fulfil their responsibilities as host or guest, and they refuse to cancel the exchange on the platform; then contact the Home Exchange support team and explain the situation. Keep all communication regarding the cancellation on the HE messaging system and do not discuss the cancellation with them outside the sytem (e.g. by email, texting, phone, etc). In this way, the HE support team will be able to see all relevant communications and take appropriate and fair action.
