The filter to search for houses without extra beds doesn’t work in all cases, as it groups together sofa beds, cribs, extra cribs, and children’s beds (which, on top of that, doesn’t specify their dimensions, leaving it up to each user to decide).
I propose that it be possible to filter three distinct concepts:
No extra beds
No extra cribs
No extra children’s beds.
And I suggest detailing the dimensions that make a bed considered a children’s bed!
Because as it is now, if an extra bed would work for you but a crib doesn’t, you can’t use this feature. And then you end up with many profiles having added cribs to gain points. This results in a huge waste of time searching for accommodation.
I also think this would help people know that you can’t host small children if you don’t have cribs. I say it in the profile but it would be better not to even get the request when a house doesn’t have small child bedding and safety features.

I have been obliged to remove the crib because groups of 5 people contacted me whereas 4 people can sleep.
Because a crib is considered as a bed by the search system.
Try to sleep in a crib if you are over 90 cm tall
So people with a baby can’t find my place any longer.
I have had this same problem, looking for places that fit four people and then one of the beds turned out to be a crib … The solution I proposed was listing sizes of te beds.

yes, I read your post in the past and voted for it, but I think they could implement both things: giving sizes for the beds and sofa-beds and also giving the choice to look for number of beds and sofa beds. Nowadays you can only look for number of beds with or without all kinds of complimentary beds, but you cannot look for beds +sofa beds or beds+cribs or beds except cribs, etc.
Yes you can see the type of beds.
But people don’t look at them before sending their message.
Because they think that only listings matching the size of the group show up.
Yes, I know I can enter each ad and check them, one by one, to see the kind of beds each family have, but it’s really time consuming. So it would be much better if you could use directly the search engine to choose beforehand which kind of beds are you looking for or which kind of beds are not suitable for your search.
And I insist that “kids bed” is not a good category, as you won’t know the real size of the bed unless you send a message to the family, as there are multiple sizes of kid’s beds in the market.
