It should be mandatory to add photos of all the rooms in the house and all the beds offered

I am looking for accommodation for five adults, each of whom needs a bed or a sofa bed to sleep on, and I’m starting to despair! On one hand, the search engine only allows me to filter whether I want extra beds or not, but it doesn’t let me choose between extra beds for babies or a sofa bed, so that filter is useless to me, as many people list cribs and “children’s beds” (by the way, a questionable definition that doesn’t specify the size).

On the other hand, many profiles don’t have photos of all the spaces in the house, so you can’t see the supposed beds and extra beds to know if they’ll work or not. Not to mention the houses where, when you look at the photos, you can’t find any trace of the beds/sofa beds that are supposedly there.

For this reason, I suggest that it should be mandatory, to validate an ad, to have at least one photo of each room in the house and, above all, of the beds or sleeping alternatives offered.

This would be hard to enforce but I do agree that all beds claimed should have photos. Not sure if I would fault someone for not including an area that is not a main area, like a study. They should but HE asking how many rooms you have and counting rooms would be a chore on them. There should definitely be dimensions on childrens bed. Also it probably depends for you if there are double beds who can sleep together.

Thank you for this suggestion. This is certainly an issue that members find frustrating and I will of course feed your ideas back to the team. My advice when there is an issue of great importance to you, would always be to make sure you communicate with the host to find out exactly what the situation is in their home. However I appreciate that when searching through a great number of listings this could take a lot of time and cause frustration.
