So many holidays!

This year, I’ve been on six holidays! Of course, they were all through HE. I often try to convince people I know to also join this great community and I hardly ever succeed and I don’t really understand why! I have had so many good times this year and I would never have been able to go on vacation this often, if it hadn’t been for HE.

At the end of April, I went a week to Brumath, a place close to Strasbourg in France, with my husband and two sons. We enjoyed waterfalls in the Black Forest, Strasbourg and a zoo.

At Ascension, my husband and I went three days to Alkmaar, a place in The Netherlands, where we mostly enjoyed the dunes and we saw some late blooming tulips (we had enjoyed many more in our own region).

At the end of May, I went four nights to the Harz mountains in Germany with a good friend. This was the first time I didn’t go with my family. We had already planned many other holidays and my husband couldn’t get any more days off of work and I wanted to go on vacation even more! We enjoyed the mountains very much and also visited (the castle of) Wernigerode.

In July and August, I went to Longvic, near Dijon in France, with my husband and two sons. We mostly enjoyed nature and castles, my husband and I photographed many butterflies at the fort in Dijon and everyone but me visited the cave of Bèze.

After Longvic, we traveled further, to Badalona, which lies against Barcelona. In Barcelona, we visited the Sagrada Familia and Park Guell. Something else which was really nice is that the partner of my husband’s brother grew up near there and her mother still lives there. We visited her while they were there and had a pasta in the afternoon, We really liked that! And we met our family members another time to see mountain Montserrat. And, as with all our holidays, further, we enjoyed nature most.

Last but not least, my husband and I went to Bischheim, which lies against Strasbourg, last week, for five nights, because it was his birthday. Originally, we had found another place to stay, but due to circumstances, the other party had to cancel. Since we liked the environment of Strasbourg so much, we decided to go there again. We saw waterfalls and (ruins of) castles in the Vosges and the Black Forest.

We have made many more pictures, for my husband and I both enojy taking pictures very much and we try to make ourselves better at it. However, I’ve been spamming you enough as it is!
