We were lucky enough to travel to Belgium and The Netherlands this summer to drop our youngest child off a college in Maastricht. Through HE we stayed in Maastricht for almost a week, and Amsterdam for 4 days. We spent a few nights in a hotel in Brussels but missed having the freedom of being in an HE home (we are spoiled). We went on a running tour through Maastricht, which I highly recommend. We tested out beer and all sorts cuisines. We enjoyed chocolate and stroopwaffels because…because. contest
