Looking for a summer exchange

Hi there,

We’re a Dutch family—Eva, Peter, and our 4-year-old daughter Sam—and we’re looking for a home exchange this summer within a 10-hour drive from our home in Schalkhaar, the Netherlands.

Our travel dates are July 28 to August 9, and we’re hoping to find a peaceful and family-friendly place to relax and explore. We’re open to different destinations, whether it’s near the coast, countryside, or a nice city—as long as it’s within driving distance.

This would be our first home exchange, and we’re excited to give it a try! We’re careful, respectful, and would treat your home with great care.

Our home is a cozy, child-friendly house with a garden, located in a quiet green village near the historic city of Deventer. We’d be happy to tell you more and share photos if you’re interested.

Welkom bij HomeExchange en op dit forum Eva (en Peter en Sam)!
Het is wel handig om aan te geven hoeveel mensen jullie kunnen ontvangen, en liefst ook een link naar je huis op HomeExchange, of een ID-nummer, toe te voegen.
Jullie zouden dus ook openstaan voor een ruil binnen Nederland? Veel Nederlanders zijn op zoek naar een ruil in het buitenland, maar met andere gezinnen met kleine kinderen maak je zeker kans.
Je zou je vraag ook in het Engelstalige deel van het forum kunnen posten. Daar komen allerlei nationaliteiten.

How exciting that this will be your first exchange :star_struck: Are you looking for a reciprocal swap (when someone stays in your home at the same time as you stay in theirs)? My only advice would be the more flexible you can be - with dates, location, type of exchange - then the easier it will be for you to find your first exchange.
