Long-term exchange with family (kid friendly)

Hi,
We are a family with 3 young daughters. We have a lovely spacious home in the Winelands of South Africa. We would like to start planning a long term exchange (preferably simultaneously) for about 3 - 6 months or as long as visas permit.

We recently switched to homeschooling and are therefore quite flexible.

A home equipped for children would be ideal.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Here is our home:

I will be updating the pictures this week, since we have done some renovations lately.

Hello. Please add your id number or listing link

Hello,

Our children do remote schooling as well so we are open to the idea of a reciprocal exchange.

Here is our home, please share yours.

Wow what a great opportunity! I am beginning to wonder if I should be homeschooling too  Did you have anywhere in mind for your travels?

Hi ! Homeexchangers :slightly_smiling_face:.

I am Maria wife to Antonio and mum to 4 kids (Sofia, victoria 3, Tomas 2 Agustin 6 months)

We are interested to do an exchange in an english speaking country or some countries as much time as posible , ideally minimum 3 months, as for us english is so important in the education of our kids:heart::sparkles:.

We are flexible on the dates as we both are digital nomads. We both work at my husbands tech startup. But I am currently on maternity leaving.

We were thinking to stick around UK or Ireland anywhere. We dont have any specific area as we prefer to stay felxible and we would come with our van, the portable cots we have if needed etc. We are open to other countries, if Australia we would love Sydney area (as i lived there) by sept 2026/february 2027

Barcelona is a very beautiful city you have many museums, restaurants and things to do. Also there are so beautiful areas to visit nearby.

Our city is 30 min bu car or 45 by train, we have a bus stop under our place (1 min walking across the street) that would take you to the train station. You can walk it s just 10-15 min (we have 2 nearby)

In case you skii Andorra is 3 hrs away and France is 1.30 min away, you can either choose Spain or France :slightly_smiling_face:.

If you fancy a weekend away, you can get the fast train and in 3.5 hours you will be in Madrid . Or during spring/summer, Balearinc islands are just 45 min away by plane!

we have a 2nd car we could let you use if you need it :hugs:. Also we would decrease our GPs so you dont have to give us, yours.

Also by the end of august we are refrubishing the both kids room to make them more available for older kids, teens and adults .

looking forward to hearing from you,
Maria

Hi Melissa

Homeschooling is a great adventure for our family at the moment!

We don’t have anywhere particular in mind, as long as it is kid-/family friendly.
