We’re stuck with school break-only travel as well! 
We also only travel during school holidays and summer, due to my kids and I’m a teacher as well.
As a teacher, yes, school holidays only! Find as in Athens, Greece, Valia's cosy family house or private room with WC-10 minutes by metro to the historical center

We are a family close to Barcelona, Spain. Our calendar is open for the last months of 2024 and all of 2025.

The problem is that dates of school holydays are different between countries and even inside the same country.
Except maybe for Chrismas holydays although it does not include Asia and North Africa.
For exemple, in France, there are 3 different dates for Easter Holydays and quite often the real Easter date is not in it!
It allows to have a more florishing touristic business and easy stay (less crowdy for skiing for example) as the Easter holidays last 4 weeks in total for the whole country.
Each zone has 2 weeks of Easter Holydays.
This is why it may help to keep your favorite and calendar updated with possible dates for you.
I usually avoid holiday travels (Thanksgiving/Christmas Holidays), but I will brave it this year, depending on location (snow in small doses!).
We only do exchanges during school holidays, following the holidays for Paris, France.
Of course! Our house is well adapted and we can lend you baby carriers if you want to go hiking. However we live inside a village so you can move around with no difficulties. If you want we can talk more through the app and answer all your questions and give you tips of what to do around. Then you can decide

My husband and I are teachers. And we have two students (children), so all our plans depend on the school holidays. We have a secondary house. It is always available for GP exchange. But we can mutually change July, August.
