Can I ask why is this field (“What would you say to your friends about HomeExchange?”) mandatory to leave a review?

Every time I’m leaving a review I need to put something in this box and it’s very annoying. It’s really not a place to ask for website feedback.

If HomeExchange would like to find out what people think of HE or whether they’d recommend it to friends, do it via optional email survey after each exchange, or once or twice a year (let’s say, whenever a member renews the membership)

People will start putting random stuff in there just because they have to if they want to leave a review, so HE won’t be getting much useful information.

I find it annoying too, but I just always leave it blank. That’s an option.

On the app I can’t submit the feedback for a member if I don’t put something in the box. The ‘Validate’ button is grey and unclickable.

If you can do it on iPhone or Website, maybe it’s a bug on Android.

You can just put a - on that box or any other simbol, you don’t need to fill it in with text. And I totally agree with you.

I agree. It has nothing to do with a review of your guest/host. Also, it’s irritating that HE doesn’t provide the same functionality on both Apps and Web versions. One shouldn’t behave differently than the other.
