For some time now, you’ve been asking us to make it easier for you to search among your favorite homes. I’m pleased to announce that we’ve made it possible!

Please note that for the moment, this feature is only available on the web. It will follow in the apps shortly.

Imagine: over the months (or years), you’ve marked a whole series of homes in Paris as favorites. Now it’s time to search for an exchange in Paris, for a specific period. Thanks to this new feature, you’ll be able to limit your search to the homes in Paris you’ve already included in your favorites.

How to search among your favorites

To take advantage of this new feature and carry out a targeted search among your favorites, check the “Only homes in my favorites” box in the new “Favorites” filter on the search page.

In the search results, you’ll see the houses that were included in your favorites and that match your search criteria.

Reminder: what are “Favorite homes” and how do I use them?

The “My favorite homes” page lets you save and group the homes you like, so you can easily contact them later.

Whenever your favorite homes update their calendar availability, we send you an e-mail to alert you to the change, and if the dates match, you can send them a request.

This way, you can keep up to date with your favorite homes and their availability. You can disable these notifications at any time from your Settings page (My Account > Settings) if you’re not yet ready to contact your favorite homes despite their availability.

Great to know that! Thank you Katia!
Just one thing, why don’t add another filter (similar to this one you’ve published) to show a map with all the HE members that put my house among their favourites? This will allow people to have a better idea when organizing their holiday and contact everybody easily.

Also, we now have a Forum newsletter that is sent to all members every 2 months, which also mentions all latest updates (upcoming newsletter is scheduled for beginning February) :slight_smile:

I’ll keep an eye out for a Forum newsletter — I’ve never seen one. And I suspect, but you would know, that the majority of members aren’t active in this forum. Thanks!

I saw it the other day and thought it was great. Like someone else mentioned, the next step should be to be able to look amongst people that put us in their favourites

The forum newsletter is sent to all members, including those who’re not on the forum.
Maybe you unsubscribed from our Marketing emails? You might wanna check with Member support if this is the case and ask to resubscribe :slight_smile:

I don’t receive the emails. I have contacted your colleagues in various occasions, I have changed my email and it is still happening.

I did ask some years ago to not receive marketing emails, but than I changed my mind and there is no way to get it back.

Having worked in customer master data for many years, I can only think there was a manual list or some sort of workaround to exclude homes, probably by home number
the person who used to manage this is not in the company anymore, and nobody knows about this workaround exist. I know of other people who are having the same issues.

So unfortunate
