Close surroundings filter
A few months ago, we invited you to update your listing, indicating the type of surroundings in which your home is located (seaside, mountains, etc.).
I’m happy to share that the corresponding filter is now active on the website too! You can now filter your searches to find homes with certain close surroundings. Looking for an exchange in the mountains? Just select “Mountain” to filter the results!
What are these close surroundings filters?
You can choose between the following filters (to start with, as other filters will no doubt be added in the future, if we see that these are often used):
- Countryside
- Mountain
- Seaside
- Lake
- City
- Village
- Isolated
- Island
- River
Important: please take a minute to check that you have filled out this information on your own listing!

Clearer search filters
If you make a search on the website, you’ll also see that we’ve just reorganized the search filters, to make them clearer, more user-friendly and more practical. For example, you can now select both “Any type of exchange” and “Exchange for GuestPoints” in your search!
