Your home looks lovely!
Please tell me when you plan to visit this part of the world.
I am also semi-retired, so I can be persuaded (with enough time to plan) to travel.

For a reciprocal exchange in which you wish to extend the number of days, the first step is to contact your host and make the request. Many, like us, will simply allow you to stay the extra time at no additional cost as long as it does not conflict with their return to their home or with another guest coming to the home. We have had several reciprocal exchanges in which we were at our hostā€™s home longer than they were at our home, and other times when our guests were at our home longer than we were at their home. If they agree, they could simply reduce the GP value of their home to zero and accept a GP visit from you for the extended period of time. Also note that when listing a home on the platform, members can define whether or not to use Guest Points for reciprocal exchanges.

Buying gp needs to contact the support to know more . Thank you

I contacted HE support a few months ago about points costs. If I remember correctly, itā€™s 25 cents per points, up to the first 25% of the total points required for the stay, after that, its like $1, then it increases after that. So if you only need a few, itā€™s not too bad, BUT if you need more that 25% of the stay, it adds up quickly

HE advised you to ā€œ contact people who are only interested in reciprocal exchanges - offering non-simultaneous exchangesā€?

Really? People do this to get more guest points? This seems wrong - to deliberately inconvenience others, and with the sanction of HE.
