I can’t find a groups filter when using the app on my iPhone. I almost never use the website. Can this function please be added to the app.
Thanks Kathy

Yes, Micha, it seems there could be a better way to help long-term-exchangers find one another!

And in reply to your comment about Asheville: We are among the lucky ones and are out of town a little ways in an area that is relatively affected.

We also don’t have to make many phone calls, or to drive far, to know of folks who’ve had their lives upended. While support has rushed in, recovery will be slow. Sustained support is what many of these communities will need in the many months ahead.

We live in Canada and are looking for longterm exchanges. Share your profile and we can continue the conversation through HE.

Hi,
Hubby and I are interested in a long term exchange to the UK in Sept/Oct/Nov 2025 - preferably for the whole three months although we could do two. As someone previously mentioned in this thread, being from Australia, its a long way to go to get anywhere and we prefer to stay in one place longer than jumping around everywhere.

I am an author, researching a book so would prefer the south of England but as everyone has been lamenting, its so hard to find a long term exchange at all and I know it helps to be flexible.

Would love to hear from anyone interested in spending a goodly amount of time in a coastal town in Queensland with sea views and use of our car.

Hi Sonia,
Have just checked out your Cotswold cottage and would like to make an inquiry given your interest in doing longer term exchanges in 2025 but am unable to because of your calendar not displaying any dates after Feb 25.
Would love to chat with you if possible?
Thanks,
Alison

We’re looking for a LONG TERM exchange in an English or French speaker country, from September 2025 to February 2026.

We would like to live aboard during half year, because is the maximum stay that I’m allowed in my job.

We did this kind of experience twice in our life, and we would like to repeat with our teenagers. Furthermore, we know we’ll be a great experience for them.

Hey home exchangers!
We have a cosy front-line apartment in Tarifa, Spain, and are happy to do long term swaps. If in Europe, we need pet-friendly homes only as we have two senior doggies that deserve to spend what time we have left together :dog::heart:
For those who come from the American continent, Asia or Oceania, we can exchange for points long-term as we have another base in the area.

Here is the link to our apartment: Apartment with swimming pool in Tarifa, Spain - Marion's place

As a newbie, I’m looking forward to experience home exchange, share my beautiful apartment and discover new locations!

Hope to meet many of you!

We are a couple in our 60s, retired from the education sector. I am French originally We live in the North of New Zealand and would love a longer exchange ( 2 weeks to a month) in France, preferably south west or south east. But we’re open to suggestions. September or October 2025. I find that an exchange between France and NZ is difficult because of the seasons being inverted. That’s why I chose a mid season period as everyone is on an equal footing.

Hello!!

I’m looking for a long term exchange in Ireland. My husband and I work remotely and would love to spend 2026-2027 school year in Ireland with our twins (aged 7).

We live in Palencia, a comfortable city in Spain where you can find all you need.

We’re also open to the option of renting if it works best for you.

I know it’s a long shot, but don’t hesitate to contact me if you are interested in living the Spanish experience and learning some Spanish

I’m also wondering how we contact home exchange members who are after longer exchanges. I’m thinking long exchanges would be between one to 3 months, Cheers Peter Thorn
