Increased Functionality for Exchanges with Children

I suggest a few changes for both guests and hosts related to children. The goal is to cut down on the number of search results, as it is very frustrating as a parent to sift through listings when the search functionality returns lots of irrelevant results. I believe these will make the process of searching for exchanges easier for parents.

  1. When I make a search for two adults and a baby for example, I think that homes where children are not welcome should automatically be filtered out. This is currently a separate box to check along with the guest count, but doing this automatically seems logical.

  2. Homes that have, as a house rule, no children allowed should not be able to count infant beds, toddler beds, or children’s beds in their bed count in order to increase GP when they don’t ever intend to host children. Same with amenities such as playgrounds, children’s toys, baby equipment, etc.

  3. Possibly- I think there should be an additional “Accessibility” selection option for “Babies Welcome”, “Children Welcome”, “Teenagers Welcome”, or something similar. I have seen many listings that are “Children Welcome”, but the listing states only children over 12, 16, etc.

Hello. Thanks for the feedback. Regarding the number 2, the algorithm is being worked on right now and adding beds etc will not give extra gp’s.
