Good morning/afternoon. We are new to HomeExchange and are curious how long is appropriate to get a response to a home owner. We sent a note and follow up 4 days ago and no response. Is that normal? Thank you.

Welcome to HomeExchange and to the Forum! 
It really can vary so much from member to member. Some are super responsive and reply straight away, others have busy lives and can take longer. There is a relatively new rule that asks members to reply within 4 days. If they do not reply within this time then it will negatively impact their ‘Response Rate’. This is intended to increase the responsiveness of members. My personal advice would that if you have not heard anything for 4 days after your follow up message then perhaps move on and send a few other requests.
