Hello from New York!

Hello! This is Eri, living in Manhattan.

Our little family loves to travel, savor great food, and make new friends — all experiences that HE provides. We have been members for about four years now and are nearing 100 exchanges. We are definitely hooked and eagerly anticipating many more adventures with HE.

everyone knows I heart NYC! 5 trips in 4 years make it my number one destination. 53 days! Far from expert though, I still get lost, but I am not afraid of getting lost.

Hi Eri
We are a couple of young retirees with more than 50 exchanges under our belt. We would love to discover New York in 2025 for about ten days. Our comfortable home with its beautiful pool is located in the south of France. Come visit us! Joelle and Raymond

Hello @Eri-NYC - your place looks amazing. I’m up in Boston. Let me know if you want to do an exchange. My space is SMALL but terrific location.

Wow 100 exchanges? :astonished::+1::+1::+1:

Maybe you can consider visiting Dalmatian coast?
I am struggling to find accessible exchange, offering my sublet on Dalmatian coast of Croatia for New York. Anything between few days to multiple months would be superb. The difficulty is I need accessible entrance (I walk with multiple joint replacements, so no stairs).

Take a look at my place: Dalmatian coast place with stunning view -up to 6 people and pets welcome

Vesna - Our apartment has bathtubs instead of showers, so it might not be suitable for your needs. We also travel only in the summertime.
I reviewed your listing and noticed a couple of things since you are new: I recommend getting your ID verified, as most people are hesitant to finalize an exchange with someone who hasn’t been verified. Additionally, you should create a separate listing for shared accommodations; we do the same.

Good luck with your Home Exchange adventure!

Hey, Eri,

Thank you.

Bathtub is ok, I can have bath seat.

Yes, ID verification is on my to-do.

Oh, two separate listings, shared and Non-shared. Good idea :+1::heart:

In case you wanna visit Dalmatia do keep my contacts or if you wish to offer your place just for few days while I explore roommate options, do let me know. If no more than 4 steps on the entrance while my assistant is with me, it is already good starting point.

Hi Eri, we are looking to travel to NYC next year.

Might you be interested in coming to Ireland in July/ August 2025 at all?

It would be lovely to hear from you.

Best of wishes

Susan

Hi Eri
I am Pat Hilliard, an American artist and teacher living in Istanbul.
I am also a former NYer.

I visit my kids in California and NY a couple of times every year.
My next trip to NY will be from October 5-18, 2024.
I don’t know whether or not you are able to arrange a reciprocal exchange.
But I wanted to introduce myself in the event that you are ever planning a trip to the former Ottoman Empire’s capital.
If you cannot travel to my home during my dates, I can arrange a non-simultaneous reciprocal exchange

Here’s my tiny apartment: Tiny 1 Bedroom apartment in Kadıköy, İstanbul, Turkey

I would be delighted to host you in Istanbul, so please let me know.
I can be flexible and easily persuaded about future travel dates as I am semi-retired - even if it doesn’t look that way on my calendar.
Please let me know if you ever plan to visit Istanbul or Turkey.

The city of Istanbul is famous for its history and historic sites (they found 5,000 year old artifacts when they were digging a new subway tunnel).
This city is famous for its hospitality, food, museums, public transport, ferryboat culture, closeness to the Black Sea city of Şile, and access to the rest of the country.
My location is 5 minutes from the ferry boats, subway, historic Kadıköy tram, buses and dolmuş (shared taxis of Istanbul)
My apartment is a subway ride from Sabiha Gökçen Airport, and a comfortable bus ride from Istanbul International Airport.
My street alone is worth visiting, there are 5 cafes outside of my front door.
My neighbors are friendly and there is a virtual plethora of restaurants, bars and cultural attractions within walking distance.
I have 13 years of Istanbul and Turkey travel recommendations and travel advice for my guests

Thanks so much,
Pat
