Has HE been hacked?

Hi everyone

Has anyone else been receiving confusing emails from Home Exchange lately? Has home Exchange been hacked? I recently received emails about special offers from Home Exchange that look exactly like emails received from Home Exchange and I don’t know whether they are phishing emails or not.

I understand your concern and it is best to be vigilant. You may find this article below helpful.

But also please be aware there are only a few official HomeExchange email addresses:

Reminder: Official HomeExchange Email Addresses

Only the following addresses are legitimate and safe. Please make a note of them:

We’d also like to remind you of our safety guidelines, available in the article below, especially important in times when scammers are increasingly active:

It’s extremely confusing that there are all these email addresses. I’ve recently received a lot of very convincing phishing messages from similar looking email addresses and have wrongly made a payment. Some of the messages even had pictures of people’s homes that I had seen on the home exchange platform.

I have to conclude that the Home Exchange platform isn’t safe.

I urge you to contact member services if this is the case. I’m afraid we can’t help with personal cases here in the Forum, but if you contact support via this form they will be able to help. HomeExchange are constantly working to ensure the safety of the platform and it’s members, however i’m afraid all users do need to be very cautious when it comes to any online practices. https://help.homeexchange.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

I’m sorry but if this is happening on such a large scale, it’s HomeExchange that has a problem and not it’s members. I have contacted member services and they haven’t replied.
