To be precise, this is not a feature of the forum, but it’s not a New thing, Facebook groups have daily this type of offers for years too.
The problem on the site is that the location is not only the single thing. You may have an apartement and the other member could want only a home for example, or a lot of other things ( you have a cat and the other member is allergic etc)
The reverse search was only planned to help finding reciprocal exchanges indeed.
Perhaps, but in theory the calendar puts your availibility, and some members don’t like at all to be “canvassed” to use their gp to go to a member home they don’t like for any reason ( but some do, that’s right, it’s 50-50 generally).

I agree .. personally it would only add to the admin.. it’s all working great for me as it is !
Yes but it’s different to offer a reciprocal, than asking a member to spend his gp at your home, like “your home or area is not good enough for me, but you can come to my home and use your gp in my home”. A lot of members don’t like it, after 10 years of moderating I Can assure you it’s very common
