Hi everybody. Stu and Sue here from sunny Gold Coast Queensland. What a fantastic idea this is. Like a lot of you we have embraced home exchange over quite a few years and will continue to do so as long as we can. Being retired and willing to travel anywhere at anytime certainly helps. Loving these longer exchanges now with like minded people and looking forward to another 3 months in uk next year. Currently travelling up to 8 months every year so another offer anywhere in the world would be greatly appreciated. Hopefully talk with some of you soon.Cheers from Stu and Sue Gold Coast in Oz.

Wow, eight months travel per year, I’m sure that would be more difficult without exchanging!
That sounds amazing. Can I ask if you do mostly reciprocal exchanges or do you build up guest points?

We really do a mixture of reciprocal, non reciprocal and have accumulated guest points which we haven’t really used as yet. We are quite lucky as we can be very flexible in relation to fitting in with other exchange friends. Our caravan which we use a lot every year is always there to go away to free up the house when needed.

We are a family of four: Neu (Spanish) and Craig (Australian) and our two amazing girls (3 & 5 years old).
We live in a peaceful and beautiful area in the mountains of Catalonia, 1 hour and a half from Barcelona. We have a cat, a dog and 5 chickens. Check it out! Cal Tranquil house
We are looking for a reciprocal home exchange in Australia, ideally Byron Bay, Brisbane, Sunshine coast or Gold coast area.
We would love to spend some time with our Australian family and also we’d like to show to our daughters that fantastic part of the world.
We would like to homexchange from september 2024 (we know! this is NOW! but it can happen!) till January 2025 aprox. But we are quiet flexible!
We are happy to take care of pets, gardening or any type of work that the house requieres during the exchange. We need help with our pets too. We love them! But, can’t take them for this long trip and no way to live them somewhere else!
Let’s see if magic happens!!
