Hi from Waikanae New Zealand - do you want to come for an exchange?

We are a retired couple living in Waikanae about an hour north of our capital city Wellington. Joined HE in the past few weeks and have successfully secured a non reciprocal swap on the Sunshine Coast in March. Because NZ is so far away from most of HomeExchange people we are happy to do a longer exchange with anyone who wants to come to NZ, we can stay elsewhere while people are here or do a reciprocal swap. Bill’s family are in Cornwall/North Devon England and a trip to see them and stay somewhere in England when not with them or in Europe could work as could USA. Likely to be later in 2025
Once I figure out how to put the link to our home here I will!

Hi, to see how to share your link go to ’ Community/ Boost your search’ and there is a tutorial of how to share your link.

Hello Anna!
We are not planning to come to NZ in a short time, but, if you like to take a short low cost flight from Uk while you will be here in Europe and have a look at our area near Venice, you and your husband will be very welcome in our flat. We love to meet people from so distante places (we love to meet people from all over the world, but some places are more “exotic” than other.
Good luck for your rearch .
Ciao Monia

Lovely to hear from you Monia, we are still in discussion about a trip to England later in 2025 but will keep in touch.

Thank you Susan

Hi from Calgary Alberta Canada.
I saw your post in the forum. My wife and I are planning a trip to New Zealand maybe in 2026.
We are new to home exchange as well. We just did a 3 week exchange in France. We have one booked in Perth, and one in Denmark and one in Vancouver as well.
If you are not already sponsored would you like me to sponsor you?
We both get 250 guest points and it is really easy to do.
My exchange ID # is2648421
Enjoy your day

Thanks Rick and Kelly,
Love to talk closer to 2026 but we would be keen for a swap or a non reciprocal one. We can go away for 3 weeks in NZ when you are here. Once you have your itinerary sorted get in touch we are quite flexible with times.
Therese

Hi!
Are you interested in Oz? We are very flexible on dates and length of exchange

Cheers

Therese

Can you please give me a link to your place?
Also maybe take any further discussion into the HE website?
Cheers

Will do Sunday night when home

Hi there! I am keen to one day do a reciprocal exchange to NZ. My father was born and raised in Auckland. He passed quite a number of years ago but it has always been a dream of mine to take my family there to immerse ourselves in the culture and traditions. I received my citizenship about 2 years ago. We live not far from the Sunshine Coast on another Island on the West Coast ~ Vancouver Island. I would be interested in keeping in contact in case you ever wish to return to the coast!

Hi there Anna

I believe I have copied our home above…new to this!

We live in Nanaimo BC, on Vancouver Island! A very central and convenient spot to explore the Island! :desert_island:

Hello I am interested in looking at an exchange . I would like to see your property but can’t find the link. I have a converted Chapel in Cornwall. I am just outside of Bodmin in a little village called St Neot with a pub, shop and cafe. We are half hr from both coasts and near a it of the tourist attractions. Eden Project , Tintagel, Padstow etc. The Chapel apartment is on ground floor so no stairs. It sleeps 4. Thanks Jenny

Hi Therese, thanks for your message. I have an apartment in The Old Chapel so if I am not in NZ on those dates you are still welcome here. I have recently lost my husband and my daughter and partner are planning NZ as the end of a big trip and want me to meet them there. Phil and I were due over to see hi family for first time in 30 years last March, unfortunately he got pancreatic cancer and died on 23/12. But,I am still invited to meet them, which is lovely of them. So, anyhow, most welcome here if it suits you. Thanks again and all the best Jenny
