Hello, I am curious for some advice on finding exchanges in Italy. I am looking in any of the above locations, in March of 2025. I know that Italians tend to holiday in the summer, but I’ve made probably close to 20 requests with no luck. Does anyone have any tips or ideas how i could improve my luck?
I’m open to either reciprocal or GP and we do have a pretty desirable location on the west Coast of Canada.
Am I missing something?

It helps the members interested to come to your area to find your listing with a reverse search.
I always contact in priority the listings where my city / region / country is written in the favorite destinations with the reverse search.
Right now , there are :
- 64 listings in Italy where Canada is a favorite destination.
- 28 listings in Italy where Vancouver is a favorite destination.
- 2 listings in Italy where Calgary a favorite destination. ho
However, Italy is hard to get because all the world wants to go there and italian hosts may prefer to rent in the hight season.

Thanks for the reverse search tips. Im frankly stumped as i have tried only places that have availability on their calendars, written long friendly messages, yet i receive from every single one, what seems to be a templated decline message in italian. Its verbatim the same each time.
Do you think writing in Italian would help?
Not really in my experience.the calendar is just an indication, it may not be UP to date, or they Can have their reason to Say no. In those very touristic places, they get several requests per day…

if you have open date, my flat will be available from 1-6 March 2025
We are not in Venice city, but you can easily reach it by train or car from our flat in Breda di Piave.
Sometimes it is easy to look for outside main city area with a good transport connaction.
