I would like to propose an improvement to the management of our listings. Currently, the platform allows you to delete a listing, but it does not offer the option to temporarily deactivate its visibility.
It would be very useful to be able to activate or deactivate the visibility of a listing voluntarily, as long as there is no pending or confirmed exchange. This feature would allow hosts to become “invisible” during certain periods without having to permanently delete their listing.
In our case, for example, we added a studio on a temporary basis to earn GPoints for a long trip. Once we reached that goal and with no exchanges pending, we no longer wish to receive requests for that studio for now, although we would like to offer it again in the future. The only current alternatives are to delete the listing, which is impractical, or to keep it visible with no available dates, which can be frustrating for travelers searching for accommodation.
This improvement would benefit both hosts and travelers, making the platform more flexible and improving the overall search experience.
