My own search for a shorter or even long-term place in New York has a special note and is a struggle, while I’m looking for an accessible home as I have a disability that requires me to avoid stairs or steps. While I am not in a wheelchair, I do have artificial joints and can only walk on flat surfaces, but max 6 steps in a set while I have my assistant with me for first few weeks.
In this sense a home exchange for even a short period would be incredibly helpful and deeply appreciated.
For some parts of my stay, depending on which month, I will be accompanied by my personal assistant, who will help me in my art projects. For other parts I will be alone.
The time I spend in New York City will be dedicated to my art, attending movie auditions, and meeting with agents.
In exchange, I am offering my home in a coastal city renowned for its inspiring sunsets, which Alfred Hitchcock once declared the most beautiful he had ever seen. The accommodation includes two bedrooms and a pull-out sofa in the living room, comfortably hosting up to six people. Pets are welcome, and you’ll find that the historic parts of the city are all within walking distance, making it unnecessary to use a car. A local market offering fresh fruits and vegetables is just a few minutes away, and beautiful beaches and an indoor pool are within a 2 km radius. Additionally, several national parks with stunning waterfalls and preserved nature are only a few hours away.
