Instead of reporting to HE it would be great if there were a possibility to flag listings that do not comply with HE policy and have checkboxes on why the HE member feels they do not comply so HE can investigate. For example advertising rental, charging fees before arrival, inflated bed count to increase points etc. I don’t know what the categories would be I think this would highlight repeat issues with a listing and put it into an easy to manage system for HE. Also it is easy for the HE member to report non-compliance with policies in a simple quick way. Of course there is a process to look into it but if you get a couple of reports on a listing you know where to concentrate efforts.
Thank you for this suggestion - it is indeed an idea that our product team is already exploring When reporting an abuse using the small flag on a members profile there is already an option to select why you believe the member does not comply. However we appreciate that there are certainly improvements that can be made with regards to this list and the relevant options. I will pass on your thoughts on this subject to the team.
Yes, Melissa, I see it now but the choices are not the ones that cause the most frequents problems. I think for HE it would be easier if some more were added and there was were the ones you have but also those that break HE policy. Inappropriate picture or text or hateful content are I hope infrequently found. Whereas there are some others that cause a lot of frustration for people trying to arrange exchanges. I am glad that they are working on it
I completely agree and yes this is going to be changed
