A no thanks filter (a reverse of the love heart)

It would be really helpful to be able to make a note if the property ISNā€™T suitable for you ( a reverse like). When searching and making small search changes the same ones pop up time and again.

I totally agree.

I totally agree, it would be very useful. Just as we can make favorites, it would also be very useful to be able to mark those houses that you have viewed but are not of interest because of their characteristics or conditions. I am absent-minded, when I search I have opened more than once the same house (which does not interest me, for various reasons) and having this indicator would help me in my searches.

Sometimes I wish to hide the whole place that is not suitable for some reasons, so the search would be much easier.

This suggestion gets a vote from me as well!

Completely agree. Iā€™m searching in Edinburgh for a HE and I need to know the ones Iā€™ve looked at - especially the ones that have no available dates open. You need a ā€œprivateā€ type of reverse love heart or flag.

Perhaps ā€˜Donā€™t show me againā€™ or ā€˜Dismissā€™ option for listings you donā€™t like so theyā€™re not shown again.

Yes, it would be helpful. But I would go further. Maybe color coded ā€œLikes (heart)ā€ and "Nope (sad face) and be able to assign a color to a meaning for us.

I could want my Hearts to mean:
RED: We have already shared mutual interest in exchanging some day
PINK : Home I love but destination doesnā€™t work for now
BLUE: Home I love but too many GPs for me, might return if I donā€™t find something less ā€œexpensiveā€
GREEN : Like the home, location not so much
YELLOW: Like the location, home not so much
Etc.

My sad faces could be:
RED : bad experience, never contact them (could be from social media interaction or previous discussion on the app)
PINK : This house has little chances to ever interest me
PURPLE : Not this time (not enough beds for our party this time for example. Might be interested when I go on a trip by myself however). I would suggest being able to reset these so when I plan a new trip I may look at this house again. Maybe have more than one of those color that can be reseted as I sometimes do more than one search for different exchanges (nature setting for the summer, warm weather for the winter)
BLUE : Too many GPs really canā€™t afford (likely wonā€™t look again)

I do not think such a mark should be shared with the host. If you donā€™t want to go there fine but downvoting a home so to speak is just unfriendly.

Yes and separate indicators as fine for GP but not reciprocal. For example, one I keep opening works great for us to go to their place but they canā€™t come to ours because they are allergic to cats.

This would be incredibly helpful. Please make it happen!

I would like this very much, too. I would have different descriptions, but the idea is exactly the same.

Voted yes but provided host cant see. Home may be gorgeous but not suit for various personal reasons eg they have a cat or mention its an old house and may have mice or ants occasionally or no aircon and you are seeking peak summerā€¦

Iā€™d like this very much. Iā€™m making requests in several places but only ask a few at a time in each. When Iā€™m not successful I go back to make some more requests and waste a lot of time rereading listings. Thereā€™s many reasons I would mark as ā€˜not for meā€™ - stairs, bedding that doesnā€™t work, too far from public transport, their listing says ā€œnot accepting GPā€ etc, etc

Indeed. It was never intended to be externally visible

It would be for personal use inly and not externally viewed. Anything else would be rude and unexceptionable

I agree. Because I am a wheelchair user I have very specific needs. This would really help.
