Tosha’s post got us thinking about just how important reviews are in the world of HomeExchange.
Unlike traditional accommodation platforms, HomeExchange is built on trust. We welcome one another into our homes, share our personal spaces, and often decide whether to exchange based on the experiences of other members.
For newer members especially, reviews can make a huge difference. Many of us admit that one of the first things we look at when considering an exchange is a member’s reviews. They help us get a sense of who someone is as a host or guest and can provide reassurance when arranging an exchange.
Of course, life gets busy, and sometimes writing a review slips down the to-do list. But taking just a few minutes to leave one can have a big impact—particularly for members who are still building their HomeExchange profile and reputation.
