Hello, I just changed insurers to ensure coverage. I was with Aviva and they said HE would be covered but would need to provide dates & details about the exchange. They had exclusions though like theft, malicious damage, etc. I ended up going with Admiral which includes as standard stays under 90 days total per year. Their policy states: “You can rent out your home through a dedicated home sharing website for up to 90 days during the period of insurance.” On the chat they told me this includes HE. But do check the wording for the conditions and speak to them for your own use case. Also they expect you to try your claim via the HE platform insurance first before trying them. I found the cost to be well under another quote I received from HomeProtect which also covers occasional hosting. Hope this is helpful!
