We are delighted to announce that the brand new website dedicated to HomeExchange Day is now online!

Please note: not all events have been added to the map yet. If you can’t see yours, don’t panic: it should appear within 48 hours—you will be notified by email as soon as your event has been posted.

Discover the website dedicated to HomeExchange Day!:confetti_ball:

There you will find a map of all the events already proposed by participating members. Of course, new events will be added every day by members who decide to organize a meetup—so be sure to check the map regularly!

HomeExchange is responsible for promoting HomeExchange Day in general…

First and foremost, rest assured: you can count on HomeExchange to promote HomeExchange Day :megaphone: It will be announced by email to everyone in our database who is not yet a member of HomeExchange.

We will also promote it on all our social media channels :mobile_phone:, through regular posts and sponsored campaigns, as well as in our webinars and blog articles.

And that’s not all: press releases will be sent to local, regional, and national media outlets :rolled_up_newspaper: — you might even hear about HomeExchange Day in your local newspaper! However, we won’t be promoting each individual event, but rather the overall initiative.

And you promote your own event :flexed_biceps:t3:

Even though the HomeExchange team will be talking about HomeExchange Day and all its events around the world, it’s important that you also spread the word about your event.

Tips for promoting your event

Here are some simple and effective ideas for promoting your event in your community:

  • Share the event on your social media accounts — Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn… anywhere your friends spend time online

  • Print posters: we’ll send them to you, and you can stick one on your door, gate, or ask your favorite local businesses (bakery, cafĆ©, hairdresser, library…) to display one

  • Contact local Facebook groups or news pages that share events in your area

  • Send a quick message to your contacts and post in your WhatsApp groups — parent groups are often a great place to find travel enthusiasts

  • Know a local journalist? Tell them about your event — who knows, you might end up in the press… and earn some bonus GuestPoints

  • Do you have contacts at a neighborhood center or community center? Share the info with them too!

And of course, all your ideas are welcome: the more people hear about HomeExchange Day, the better! :tada: So share your ideas in the comments :slightly_smiling_face:
