Thanks for feedback

Closing topic: thanks.

I think it’s worth remembering that we were all new to HomeExchange once, and part of what makes this community so special is helping and educating new members along the way. :heart:

Reviews are particularly important in those early stages, so personally I wouldn’t mark them down in terms of stars for this.

That said, as they’re new members, a private message from you as an experienced exchanger, explaining what happened and suggesting they make this clearer in their listing, might actually be the most helpful approach. It gives them the opportunity to learn without having a negative review attached to their very early exchanges.

Personally I recently stayed at an exchange home where the master bedroom was blocked off, but it was clearly stated in their listing. I would recommend that the host does this too :slight_smile:

@LFB
Sorry it happened to you.

To be fair, it is important to stick to the listing description.

  • How many bedrooms are listed? If it is 3 and you had access to 3 bedrooms, so it is OK.
  • same question for the bathrooms. Here it seems to have a difference. 2 bathrooms listed and only one available ?

Is there any sentence explaining that bedrooms are upstairs?

Generally no photo = it does not exist.
