Hello! My wife and I are hoping to plan a long-term exchange sometime between May and end of September 2026, hoping to land somewhere in Austria or southern Germany. This could be from 4 weeks to 2 months long. We have some history spending time in this region and are hoping to bring our then 1.5-year old daughter to experience a longer stay in a place we really love. Our home is in Bend, Oregon, a medium-sized mountain town that is well-known amongst those who enjoy outdoor activities, great entertainment, and year-round activities, plus close access to an airport and within 3 hours from Portland, a main city on the west coast US. Since we are a year out, we wanted to try planning this early, especially if there are multiple families/groups involved where we are able to use a combination of CP and/or reciprocal home exchange. Ideally it would be reciprocal, but we understand that is not always possible.
