I would just like people to reply to a request , even if it’s the reply is a “Sorry, no , it doesn’t suit our plans.“
That would be preferable to silence which leaves you in limbo, wondering and hopeful.
Hi Helena!
We actually have a new feature coming out soon that could help with this
Whilst I find that a little annoying what really gets me is when you search specific dates it includes homes that dont have ANY open dates at all let alone your ones. Why doesnt the search excludes these homes especially when peoples response rates are zero.
I find that annoying, too! But about the response rate, you can use the filter that you only want to see houses that have a respons percentage of 80% or more.
Unfortunately some of the silences are people who have a high listed response rate which I thought odd esp after sending a 2nd message .
I am trying to be patient as life can be very busy for people …
Zane , I look forward eagerly to that new feature
That is odd indeed, though maybe not if the percentage is 80%. You can try to only contact homes with a 100% respons percentage (which I try to do), but it’s not a 100% guarantee they will answer, for indeed, life does happen.
The results are displayed in 2 sections and different icons. Do you Know how to read it and see differences ?
2 different results ?
Why ?
Nono don’t know how to see 2 different results .
I see a %age reply in their profile . That’s the one I havd been referring to .
See maps icon : , grey is unavailable for example. https://help.homeexchange.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000706257-What-do-the-map-icons-mean
And when you do a search , only the first results are filling your dates and requirements. The other ones in grey are Here just in cases , see search results it’s written
Hi Etienne
Yes that’s great however why bother displaying homes at all if there is no availability and low response rates. IMO if a home doesn’t have a single day available it shouldn’t be shown…It is just wasting peoples time on the search
THIS. It’s a bit annoying when we pre-approve an exchange, and people just ghost you.
