North Wales GP exchange

Hi, we’re a family of 4 (two boys aged 7 and 10) who are desperate to holiday in North Wales. We had an epic adventure interrailing up through Europe for 2 months last summer, when we hosted 6 families in our Salisbury home. We’re now looking for another adventure, closer to home and love North Wales for it’s choice of beaches, castles, temperate weather, adventure and mountains (especially mountains). We also have a cat allergy, and are currently unable to offer a reciprocal exchange/hosting as we are due to have our house remodelled this summer. I have contacted literally dozens of hosts for our preferred dates (9th to 23rd August give or take a few days; my husband works in healthcare and thus his dates are set by staffing levels) and no-one has been able to help us; many state they don’t have their own summers sorted out yet. We are respectful and love the Home Exchange ethos, but are getting nervous that no-one will be able to host us this summer and we’ll be stuck. We’ve looked else where in the UK, but don’t have to have to drive +6 hours, and can’t find any pther regions that offers the same adventure/activities we’re seeking! Can anyone please help?
