Thank you, Melissa. So far nothing at all and I’ve drastically reduced the guest points for Paris this August. It’s a unique property for the city. Any suggestions how to get more people to see that it’s available?

Are you also a member of the Facebook groups? There is an English, Spanish and French one for members only. This would also be a good place to post your August dates. There are also chat groups within these Facebook pages too which you can join and add a message about your home. Another option would be to try the reverse search function to find people who would like to go to Paris. If you need links to any of these then please do let me know
I’ve done reverse search and written to people. I’ve asked the admins in one group a bunch of times for the other Facebook groups but I get no replies.
On a separate issue I had a very inappropriate message on the platform from a company wanting to rent my apartment. I reported it and have had no reply.
Not encouraged by this platform so far.
I gave you the other groups links 2 times on Facebook. I guess facebook didn’t notified you but read posts where we talked, you’ll find it.
For the report, the staff is overwhelmed in summer and will take care of this after, it’s not a priority as finding replacement exchanges etc which is a lot of work right now with more than 1300 exchanges per day
I hope this is another language problem. Not good to tell paying clients that their issues aren’t priorities.
I’m sorry to hear that. It can take a while to find exchanges as a new member. However once you have started to build up your reviews it does get much easier I really think that with your stunning homes you’ll find guests easily once you get up and running. It is worth mentioning that there are quite a lot of homes in Paris listed on HomeExchange, and quite a lot are also available in August as many leave the capital for cooler locations. It is also quite last minute as a lot of members will have already made their plans for this summer. People do of course still make last minute trips. I think the chat groups in Facebook could be very handy for you.
