Hi, We are a family of 6 (kids aged 13, 10, 8 and 5) who are looking for a GP exchange in London from 21st August - 26th August 2025. We have sent out loads of requests already but either have not got replies or the usual ‘sorry we are unable to right now’. If anyone is interested in doing a GP exchange at that time can you please contact me, or if anyone has tips they would be greatly appreciated.

Yes it can be tricky to find an exchange in London, but please don’t despair! In my experience I find it easier to get GP stays a bit closer to the time. Also a 5 night stay is relatively short, could you perhaps stay any longer? Or alternatively offer points for 7 nights (if you have enough points to do this of course). It might also be worth considering opening your search up to a wider geographical area. I used to live in London and the transport links going to some of the suburbs are excellent. For example areas such as Surrey, Hertfordshire, Essex etc are all close to the capital but also lovely destinations in their own right.
I agree it would be much easier to find a longer stay if they can afford it We have done several home swaps with London families and we have always stayed at least one week.
