It can be tricky (but not impossible!) to find an exchange in London, especially for a short amount of time. Have you sent requests through the website? Can you also offer the possibility of a reciprocal exchange? The more flexible you can be in terms of dates, length of time, exact location and type of exchange - the easier it will be
It is hard to find HE in London in my view, because most property is owned to rent and on a mostly commercial basis these days i.e. many overseas investors have taken over the property. My suggestion is to widen the search to look for her out for example in the home counties where it’s easy to reach London by train.but you also have other benefits of living outside of London. You will be able to explore other areas as well. For example, I live on the South Coast and the are only 1 hr 15 mins by direct train into London Waterloo.
We live close to many attractions i.e. historic Portsmouth, Thorpe park (theme park) also Marwell zoo and historic Winchester and not forgetting the beautiful New Forest.
So,.a benefit of not choosing London to base yourself is a better range of HE options - have a look at ours for example within 1 hr 15.mins of London.
