My name is Arthur Gruenbaum, and together with my wife and our 2-year-old son, we will be relocating to Hamburg in March 2026. I will be starting a long-term position in the renewable energy sector, and we are very much looking forward to beginning this new chapter in Germany.
We are currently based in Brazil and will be settling in Hamburg, ideally in a family-friendly neighborhood (my office is in Langenhorn, next to U1 Ochsenzoll). From around June 2026, we would love to explore a long-term exchange (approximately 6–12 months, flexible depending on what works best for both sides).
As we will be officially settling in Germany, it is important for us to be able to complete the Anmeldung at the address of the exchange. We understand this depends on individual circumstances and landlord regulations, and we’re happy to discuss it transparently.
In exchange, we can offer our apartment in Rio de Janeiro — well-located and suitable for a couple or small family — and we are open to discussing different options.
We also have a house in Teresópolis, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
We are a quiet, responsible, non-smoking family who truly value taking care of a home as if it were our own. For us, this would be more than just an exchange — it’s about creating a smooth and positive transition for our family.
