We’re a family of three from Vancouver, Canada (my wife and I, and our 11-year-old son) - looking for a home exchange somewhere in Central (Costa Rica?) or South America (Colombia?) for 3-6 months starting anytime after January 1, 2026.
We’re hoping to find a place where we can immerse ourselves in local culture, enjoy warm weather, and ideally be close to the ocean for swimming or scuba diving.
Our home in Vancouver is a comfortable, family-friendly house in a great neighborhood, close to parks, transit, and just minutes from downtown and the mountains. It’s the perfect base for exploring the city, skiing, hiking, or just enjoying the laid-back West Coast vibe.

If you are still looking for an exchange, you’ll find Argentina a bit further down. We have a fully equipped apartment that might be a good fit for future stays with your family, and we are happy to welcome longer stays as well.
