I saw a post & thread about companies in the UK that may or may not cover swapping. People were struggling to find someone. I cant seem to search it out now…. Anyhoo, i wanted to say that ive had success! I have discovered that Admiral do 3 levels of Home & Contents insurance then, once you’ve got your quote reference number, you simply call them up and ask them to convert it into a Host Policy. This covers you up to 90 days a year for either Airbnb or swapping sites. They dont charge extra. Its not super cheap tbh but its also not crazy (3 bed house £600, with a 400 voluntary excess). For me, its worth the money to have peace of mind that im covered if something really awful happened ( that is, not for minor repairs or damage but if they injured themselves in your home or accidentally burned it down for eg) God forbid but stuff happens!
