I’m nominating Hannu and Rauni - They stayed in my home in the summer of 2024. When i returned home, i saw they had added ‘Dec 6th - Finnish Independence’ to my calendar.
I loved that they wanted me to learn more about their culture and to join them in celebrating the independence Finland gained from Russia. It makes me smile when i look at December and i will write it into my 2025 calendar too so you stay with me for many years to come.
