We are finding it very difficult to find a home exchange anywhere in the Spanish Pyrenees (This June 25-July 1) - we would like to have home base while exploring hiking with our family. This has proven to be VERY DIFFICULT - anyone know anyone have any recommendations… I have send 100’s of messages 
Hello Amber, sorry to hear that you’re having difficulty finding an exchange.
The first thing I think when I see that a member has sent 100’s of requests is that indeed there is a problem! I have 7 exchanges set up for a total of 10 messages. I dont think I’ve ever sent more than 10 messages before finding an exchange ( and I dont think there are 100’s of homes that I would consider to be a good match for me in any destination I’ve been to 
)
So what’s going wrong? The first thing to do so we can help is to post your own listing so we can see what you’re offering and maybe an example of your request message. I’d be surprised if you’ve sent 100’s of targeted and personalised messages, which is the secret of finding an exchange partner ( as opposed to ’ just anywhere to stay’. Is your research criteria reasonable ? Even if you’re offering points you need to persuade your partner that they can trust you with their precious home!
