Filter for houses near train, public transport

We are always travelling by train and public transport. We are craving for a filter!

It takes an incredible amount of time to scroll through all the descriptions of the houses.

I would really recommend to add a filter for houses close to train station/public transport. This gives also information that there is public transport nearby to visit local sites.

As Homeexchange is trying to increase the number of travellers by train and public transport and want to decrease the impact on the environment, I think this could be a very good thing to add very soon!

Thank you for your reply. When I look at my profile of my house I see the option acces to public transport.

But when i look for a house myself, I cannot see between the ammenities the option to use the filter ‘acces to public transport’.

So how do I do this? Can you please show me where to find it exactly?

There was a related topic here, it shows how to add ‘acces to public transport’ to your profile of your house. But not how to use this filter in selecting homes.

When you search , the filter is under the size / number of beds.

It is localisation / access to public transports.
Click on it.

thank you for your reply. It is not in my app of Home Exchange. I can select all kinds of locations like city or lakes or coastal but the button for public transport is not there. I looked at updates of the app too, I seem to have the lastest update.

I guess it’s iphone ? Probably not available yet on it. You can use it on a computer,a tablet, or remove the app and use a mobile browser instead for example

Ik woon ook in Nederland en bij mij staat het er wel. Ik heb een ouderwetse telefoon waar Android op staat.

Dank je wel Trenke. Ik heb een iPhone 14, update iOS 26.6 laatste versie dus. Wel bijzonder dat Home Exchange daar geen recente app op kan krijgen. Ik zal binnenkort nog eens de app helemaal verwijderen en weer opnieuw erop zetten. Tot die tijd maar op mijn MacBook, ook Apple, daar werkt t wel, alleen een stuk langzamer dan via mijn smartphone.
