We are a family of five living just outside Rennes, Brittany.
Our home is available for a reciprocal exchange in August 2026. We are looking for a two-week stay and are quite flexible regarding destinations. We are especially interested in cities and towns with a lively centre, cultural attractions, and good public transport connections, but remain open to many destinations across Europe.
Our house is ideally located to explore Rennes, Saint-Malo, Mont-Saint-Michel and Brittany.

We really love your uber charming place and great location! We’d love to stay for two weeks or more from Aug 21/22 for a reciprocal exchange if that works for you, and we’d be happy to reciprocally exchange cars as well. IfWe have more than 39 Five Star exchanges and have been longing to experience beautiful windswept Brittany.!
I should mention in recent years I have developed some mobility issues. So car rental, parking are key and long distances of walking could be a challenge! We’d love any thoughts you have about that topic!

Let’s explore possibilities! We are very close to world renowned Stone Mountain Park, phenomenal farmers markets and Atlanta is a fabulous restaurant and cultural panoply. This is a great base from which to discover the glorious South as well!

Our home near Atlanta in Clarkston, Georgia, a stone’s throw from the glorious Stone Mountain Park, is on a lake and pond, with a colorful, fun and artistic decor with up to four rooms for sleeping (1 Master King with a nearly new mattress and lake view, 1 Victorian Queen with almost new memory foam mattress, for kids a 1 cozy Futon in private room and 1 comfy Pull Out sofa in private wing with screened porch, sliding glass doors and view of lake). Only about 20 min from the totally hip downtown metro Atlanta, GA USA - the most sophisticated and cosmopolitan city in the South and five minutes to Stone Mountain, you will enjoy the ethnically diverse City of Clarkston as well as the serene greenery and lake and the home’s inspiring interior with a location that is central to everything, including 30 minutes to and from the airport.
Comfortable and welcoming, the house is central to everything in the area - including being just five minutes from the magnificent and internationally noted Stone Mountain park with hiking, laser show and fireworks every evening in the summer and many other attractions. In winter there is tobogganing at Snow Mountain.
Our whimsical one-of-a-kind home is located on a lovely small lake and pond in the peaceful and friendly town of Clarkston, Georgia where you can walk to ethnic restaurants, the quirky and fascinating Thriftown international market, with many biking and walking paths, a park with barbecue, tennis courts, large scale summer movies, a very nearby public swimming pool and, just minutes one of the best Farmer’s Markets in the region. There’s even a newly reburbished canoe at the house for the stout of heart!
In the sophisticated Atlanta and the adjacent posh Buckhead you’ll find fabulous shopping and restaurants, a great music, theater, arts, history and cultural scene. You can find night life and dancing, a fantastic art museum and theater scene, sports arena, one of the best Aquariums in the country, a beautiful botannical garden, tour the TV studios of CNN, The World of Coca Cola museum, the phenomenal and ultra cool biking and walking path in the urban center called the Beltline - great for people watching, public art sightings, super restaurant possibilities and more.
From Atlanta there are tons of day trip and weekend or longer get-alway possibilities including the Blue Ridge Mountains, the Highlands in North Carolina, the historic Antebellum Savannah, Georgia, and its nearby Tybee Island Beach, the historic Charleston, SC, Myrtle Beach, St. Simon’s Island, Jekyll Island and more. Disneyland is an easy flight to Orlando, Fla.
As we said our house is central to everything in the metro Atlanta, Georgia area and we are happy to consider a reciprocal exchange with you for each other’s cars, if interested, unless public transport would suffice.
